Join Nando's PERi-PERi team as a Cleaner/Dishwasher in Springfield, VA. We offer both part-time and full-time positions with a friendly and supportive work environment. This role is ideal for those beginning their restaurant career or looking to earn additional income.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure all dishes, glassware, utensils, and cooking pots are cleaned and sanitized thoroughly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish room, dishwashing equipment, and storage spaces
• Collaborate with team members to deliver an exceptional dining experience to guests
• Assist with cleaning other restaurant areas as needed
• Support food preparation tasks including putting away orders and handling chicken cooking when requested

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team setting
• Capacity to remain calm and effective under pressure
• Dedication to quality customer service with knowledge of food and beverage standards
• Understanding of safety, sanitation, and food handling protocols
• Basic proficiency in English and professional communication abilities

Physical Requirements

• Capability to lift up to 15 pounds repeatedly
• Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs while carrying food items and dishes throughout a typical shift
• Preparedness to be on feet for 8 to 10 hours per day
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Comfort with reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to lift items overhead and navigate stairs, including multi-level restaurant setups
