Position Overview

As a Cleaner at Boylesports in Castlebar, you will be an essential part of maintaining a tidy, organized, and inviting atmosphere for both customers and staff. Your duties will focus on keeping multiple areas within the premises, such as bathrooms, betting sections, and communal spaces, clean and sanitary.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing various surfaces.
• Disinfect and clean bathroom facilities, covering sinks, toilets, and floors.
• Empty waste bins regularly and replace liners.
• Ensure betting terminals and gaming zones remain clean and presentable.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and replenish stocks as necessary.
• Follow designated cleaning schedules and procedures diligently.
• Comply with all health and safety guidelines relevant to the role.
• Promptly notify management of any maintenance or safety concerns.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory.
• Residency within reasonable commuting distance of the Castlebar location is required.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and a cooperative attitude.
• Capability to precisely follow instructions and protocols.

Working Schedule

Shifts range from 1 to 2 hours daily, across 4 to 7 days per week, scheduled outside Boylesports business hours.
