Civil Site Supervisor

Job Overview

We are seeking a Civil Site Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the execution of industrial concrete flooring projects at our sites. The primary focus is to ensure the work is completed according to quality standards, safety protocols, manpower management, and within the planned timeline, meeting both company and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily concrete flooring activities on site, ensuring alignment with drawings, specifications, and instructions.
• Supervise tasks like floor preparation, concrete placement, leveling, finishing, cutting, jointing, and repairs.
• Verify floor levels, thickness, slope accuracy, and quality of finishing.
• Liaise effectively with site engineers, project managers, and clients.
• Assign daily tasks to workers and subcontractors, monitor attendance and productivity, ensuring disciplined and efficient manpower use.
• Manage the proper use and timely availability of machinery and tools; report breakdowns and maintenance promptly.
• Ensure correct storage and handling of materials, monitoring consumption and wastage, and communicating material needs ahead of time.
• Conduct quality checks throughout the execution stages, identify defects for immediate corrections, reducing rework and wastage.
• Enforce compliance with safety requirements, proper PPE use, maintain housekeeping, and promptly report any safety incidents or hazards.
• Prepare daily progress reports detailing manpower, material usage, completed work, and communicate project status and concerns to management.

This role involves close coordination with safety officers and requires strict adherence to site safety practices. Accurate site documentation and timely communication with project management are critical.
