Civil Site Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Civil Engineer or Site Supervisor to oversee a warehouse construction project located in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh. The position demands on-site supervision to ensure smooth execution of all civil engineering activities from foundation work to finishing tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily civil construction operations at the warehouse site.
• Manage contractors, subcontractors, and site labor efficiently.
• Supervise various civil works such as RCC, foundations, masonry, plastering, flooring, and drainage.
• Ensure all work complies with approved drawings, technical specifications, and given timelines.
• Assess material quality and workmanship rigorously.
• Take accurate measurements and verify billing submitted by contractors.
• Maintain comprehensive daily progress updates and site records.
• Liaise and coordinate effectively with the Project Manager, contractors, and suppliers.
• Optimize use of manpower and materials for operational efficiency.
• Enforce site safety regulations and ensure the use of protective equipment by all workers.
• Identify, address, and resolve daily operational issues on site.

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma, Bachelor of Engineering, or Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 to 7 years experience in site supervision or civil engineering roles.
• Preferably experienced in warehouse, industrial, commercial, or pre-engineered building (PEB) construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques and reading of technical drawings.
• Experience in managing contractors and site labor groups.
• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
• Effective communication and coordination skills for site management.
• Willingness to be based at the Nellore site is highly desirable.

Additional Details

• Positions are available for immediate joining.
• Monthly gross salary ranges from INR 25,000 to INR 35,000.
