Role Overview

This position is a full-time, on-site civil engineer role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, specifically open to Saudi nationals. It is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with up to one year of relevant experience in civil engineering or construction-related roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, designing, coordinating, and executing civil engineering tasks related to major construction projects such as site development, utilities installation, roadways, and stormwater systems.
• Support the preparation and review of engineering drawings, calculations, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, consultants, and project teams to ensure smooth project progress.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, project specifications, and company standards.
• Conduct site visits and inspections, monitor construction progress, identify technical challenges, and propose practical solutions.
• Contribute to maintaining quality, safety standards, and schedule adherence throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist with the creation of project documentation, technical reports, and initiatives aimed at improving design and construction processes.

Qualifications and Skills

• Must be a Saudi national.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Suitable for fresh graduates or professionals with up to one year of experience in civil engineering, construction, infrastructure, or site operations.
• Fundamental understanding of civil engineering design concepts and their application to construction activities.
• Experience or awareness of construction planning, including site layout, phasing, and civil works coordination within project schedules.
• Basic knowledge of stormwater management, drainage, utilities, roadworks, and site development is advantageous.
• Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent engineering tools would be beneficial.
• Understanding of engineering standards, building codes, and specifications relevant to local requirements is preferred.
• Membership in the Saudi Council of Engineers is a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail, with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous self-improvement.
• Capability to work on-site in Riyadh, multitask efficiently, and adjust to dynamic project demands in a fast-paced setting.
