Job description
Overview
As an integral part of the store management team, the Team Leader supports the Store Manager and Assistant Manager by overseeing daily store operations.
Primary Duties
- Lead and manage associates by providing guidance and support.
- Oversee in-store presentation, shelf replenishment, and daily packing/unpacking of shipments.
- Ensure compliance with exceptional customer service standards.
- Perform management tasks during shifts, including handling breaks and attendance.
- Implement and uphold visual merchandising standards.
- Address customer complaints promptly and resolve issues effectively.
- Maintain safety and cleanliness standards within the store.
- Handle cash management and perform store opening or closing duties as needed.
- Participate in inventory control and training of new employees.
- Follow up on assigned tasks and contribute to hiring and performance evaluations.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of retail experience.
- 1 to 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Motivation to advance within the company.
- Flexible availability including days, evenings, and weekends.
- Strong leadership qualities and effective communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and perform well in a high-volume environment.
