Role Overview
As a CDP / SAP Emarsys Data Engineer, your primary focus will be to enhance customer data capabilities that drive integrated marketing and business outcomes. You will be responsible for managing customer data platforms, integration points, and downstream systems to ensure accurate, consistent, and accessible customer data that supports various teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and maintaining processes for customer data ingestion and transformation.
- Creating and supporting integrations between source systems, CDP, SAP Emarsys, and downstream platforms.
- Building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL workflows.
- Managing customer data models and structures effectively.
- Ensuring data quality, consistency, governance, and optimal system performance.
- Providing support for customer segmentation and marketing data requirements.
- Assisting in campaign execution and customer analytics needs.
- Resolving data integration and data quality issues promptly.
- Investigating data-related incidents and implementing corrective measures.
- Collaborating with functional, marketing, integration, and technical teams to meet project goals.
- Supporting testing, deployment, and production operations.
Qualification Requirements
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in data engineering, customer data management, or data integration roles.
- Practical experience working with Customer Data Platforms (CDP) and/or SAP Emarsys solutions.
- Advanced skills in SQL, including ETL and data transformation expertise.
- Experience with APIs, data integration techniques, data modeling, and managing customer data schemas.
- Strong understanding of data quality assurance and data governance principles.
- Professional proficiency in English communication.
Preferred Skills
- Expertise in customer segmentation and marketing automation strategies.
- Experience handling enterprise-level customer data environments.
- Hands-on knowledge of both SAP Emarsys and SAP Customer Data Platform implementations.
- Experience integrating customer data from both SAP and non-SAP sources.
