About the Role
Join the team at Yvette Williams Retirement Village in Dunedin as a Caregiver, where you can make a significant difference in the residents' lives by providing compassionate, supportive care. This role requires working at least 30 hours per week, potentially including weekend shifts, with an hourly wage ranging from $25.30 to $31.78 depending on your experience.
Applicants must meet at least one of these criteria: possess a Level 3 Health and Wellbeing certificate (or equivalent) alongside 3 years of relevant experience, or hold a Level 4 Health and Wellbeing certificate (or equivalent).
Key Responsibilities
- Providing personal care and support guided by individual care plans and under a Registered Nurse's supervision.
- Monitoring residents closely and promptly communicating any changes in health or behavior to senior staff.
- Maintaining residents' safety, comfort, and privacy at all times.
- Offering empathetic assistance by understanding and responding to resident needs.
- Accurately and promptly documenting all care activities provided.
