About the Role
Join the team at Telford Lifecare, a 53-bed care home and hospital with an attached 16-unit village in New Plymouth, Taranaki. This permanent full-time caregiver position offers 32+ hours weekly across AM, PM, night, and weekend shifts, providing compassionate care in a supportive environment. The wage is $31.23 per hour.

Role Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to residents ensuring their wellbeing and comfort
- Work collaboratively within a team to maintain a warm and safe living environment
- Support health and safety protocols consistently
Required Qualifications and Experience
- NZQA Level 4 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing or equivalent qualification such as Bachelor or Diploma in Nursing
- Minimum six months experience in caregiving or a similar health support role, preferably in aged care
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving ability
- A sincere dedication to helping others with a friendly and positive disposition
- Commitment to continuous learning and improving care practices
