About Corlann

Corlann, based in Limerick, is committed to supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities to live valued, inclusive lives within their communities. We aim to provide ordinary life experiences and foster strong connections with family and friends for the people we support.

Position Overview

We are inviting applications for the position of Care Assistant across multiple locations including Limerick City, Doon, and Foynes. Both permanent and relief contracts are available, with options for day and night shifts. A panel may be established from this recruitment campaign to fill current and future openings of full- or part-time duration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive personal care including assistance with meals and hygiene throughout the day.
  • Serve as a key worker supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities in achieving goals outlined in their Individual Plans.
  • Encourage and facilitate community participation and integration for those supported by the services.

Applicant Requirements

  • Possess a minimum QQI Level 5 qualification in a relevant or appropriate field.
  • Hold a full manual driver's license valid for manual transmission vehicles in Ireland.

  • Salary based on a 13-point scale ranging from €34,881 to €48,434 (pro-rata).
