As a Cafe Team Member, your role blends food preparation, customer interaction, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety across the cafe. Your contribution ensures that every dish served lives up to our menu promises, and all areas remain clean and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Serve customers promptly and attentively.
• Adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene guidelines while accurately keeping daily records.
• Implement first in, first out (FIFO) principles to ensure fresh food stock management.
• Receive deliveries and store food safely according to standards.
• Comply with all operational policies and procedures consistently.
• Prepare, cook, and serve food items faithfully following the café’s menu.
• Ensure food products remain available and standards are upheld at all times.
• Know the café menu thoroughly and deliver food as intended.
• Address customer complaints tactfully and escalate issues to the Café Manager when needed.
• Stay informed on internal communications and participate in new initiatives.
• Clear and sanitize tables to keep the café spotless.
