Job description
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled CAD / Revit / BIM Engineer to join our team at the Head Office located in Loughrea, County Galway. This role offers a competitive salary and the chance to work within a leading engineering firm focused on water and wastewater infrastructure projects across Ireland and the UK.

Education and Experience Requirements
- A third-level qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or alternatively, a strong trades background combined with a BIM qualification.
- Minimum of three years' experience working in BIM coordination roles.
- Relevant background in Mechanical or Electrical engineering with demonstrated performance in similar roles.
- Capacity to operate effectively under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines.
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee the creation and coordination of multi-disciplinary models, drawings, and schedules.
- Ensure design developments align with the project BIM execution plan including conducting regular coordination, model validation, and data sharing among project teams.
- Coordinate communication between Mechanical & Electrical Designers and Civil & Structural Designers.
- Maintain and update the Master Information Delivery Plan (MIDP) throughout projects.
- Participate in drawing and design reviews and support feasibility studies.
- Engage with project teams to clarify project requirements and schedule needs.
- Take direction from engineers to produce drawings with minimal supervision.
- Utilize initiative and expertise to support the CAD team and enhance proficiency in CAD software and related tools.
