Cabinet Maker

Overview

We are looking for a skilled Cabinet Maker with a minimum of four years of direct experience in producing custom cabinets and millwork. The candidate will be responsible for crafting high-quality cabinetry products from start to finish, including assembly and finishing tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Construct and assemble custom cabinets, vanities, closets, and other related millwork items.
• Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and precise measurements accurately.
• Measure, cut, shape, and join wood and comparable materials for cabinetry.
• Utilize woodworking tools such as table saws, panel saws, edge banders, routers, and drills.
• Install hardware components like hinges, drawer slides, and handles.
• Conduct sanding, trimming, fitting, and finishing procedures to ensure product quality.
• Inspect finished products to confirm dimensional accuracy and craftsmanship.
• Keep tools and machinery well-maintained and ensure a clean, safe workspace.
• Adhere strictly to workplace safety standards at all times.

Qualifications

• At least four years of practical experience working as a cabinet maker.
• Comprehensive understanding of cabinetry construction and woodworking methods.
• Proficiency operating woodworking machinery and power tools.
• Competency in reading technical shop drawings and precise use of measuring devices.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to craftsmanship.
• Capable of working independently without close supervision.
• Physical ability to lift and manage cabinet materials comfortably.
• Dependable, punctual, and focused on maintaining safety protocols.
