Position Overview
The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in expanding Virtuos' presence across Norway, Finland, Cyprus, Turkey, Central Europe, and potential markets in the Middle East. This role focuses heavily on growing relationships and revenue within the mid-market segment by identifying opportunities and collaborating with internal teams to deliver customized solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline to meet and exceed revenue goals by overcoming client challenges and facilitating internal communication.
- Oversee the sales process and pipeline management using Salesforce or equivalent tools within assigned regions.
- Strategically manage existing client accounts to boost revenue streams and enhance long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with production teams to assess opportunities, prepare proposals, negotiate agreements, and secure contracts, including coordinating client visits and due diligence.
- Provide after-sales support by scheduling regular client check-ins to maintain satisfaction and proactively address changing needs.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting and forecasting through proper use of communication and sales platforms.
- Effectively counteract competitive threats by positioning Virtuos advantageously in the market.
- Represent Virtuos at major industry events to enhance brand presence and network.
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Business Development (Europe) to improve cross-regional communication, establish standardized update procedures, and foster collaboration.
- Lead initiatives to build a broader network with non-profit and charitable organizations within Europe, exploring ways Virtuos can support these entities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or comparable professional experience.
- 3 to 4 years of relevant business development experience within related industries.
- Experience working effectively with both direct and external partners.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing business growth strategies.
- Strong focus on objectives and goal achievement.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
- Bilingual skills in French plus additional languages are advantageous.
- Willingness to travel as part of the role.
- Genuine passion for gaming, both creating and playing.
