Business Development Executive (BDE)

About the Role

The position involves managing comprehensive travel arrangements such as booking flights, reserving hotels, and organizing ground transport, all while adhering to company policies and optimizing costs. The aim is to provide smooth travel experiences for field executives to focus on their business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, compare, and book domestic and occasional international flights to secure optimal pricing and schedules.
• Arrange hotel stays within budget and near client or meeting locations.
• Create and maintain detailed travel itineraries including flights, accommodations, and local transportation.
• Ensure travel complies with company policies, manage expenses, and obtain necessary approvals for bookings.
• Manage urgent travel changes, cancellations, and emergencies as they arise.
• Support preparation of travel-related documentation, such as visas and insurance, when necessary.
• Liaise with travel agents, airlines, and hotel vendors to coordinate bookings and services.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Prior experience working as a travel desk executive or in travel booking roles.
• Familiarity with online travel booking platforms like IRCTC and MakeMyTrip, along with Global Distribution Systems such as Sabre.
• Understanding of airline routes, baggage regulations, and hotel star rating systems.
• Strong communication skills for effective coordination with travelers and vendors.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle a fast-paced environment with close attention to detail.
