Business Analyst

About the Role

This position is for a Technical Business Analyst (TBA) specializing in API integration. The role demands extensive hands-on experience in data integration, API endpoint design, and interoperability within enterprise systems. The successful candidate will liaise between business and engineering departments to translate requirements into comprehensive integration designs, define and validate API endpoint contracts, and provide support throughout the entire project lifecycle from initial discovery through testing, deployment, and post-implementation maintenance.

Key Deliverables

• Well-defined, verifiable integration requirements and API specifications
• In-depth understanding of Records Management domain
• Comprehensive documentation and validation of data mapping and transformation logic
• Design of secure, resilient, and efficient API endpoints that comply with standards
• Maintained traceable backlog items including user stories and acceptance criteria to guide delivery
• Achievement of tangible business value reflected in quality, timeliness, and cost efficiency

Responsibilities

• Gather and record both business and technical integration requirements, focusing on data flows and system interfaces
• Chart current and desired data pathways, detailing linked systems, latency metrics, service level agreements, and operational limitations
• Conduct thorough gap analyses, including assessments of dependencies, risks, and critical non-functional requirements such as security, performance, system observability, and scalability

• Over 10 years of relevant professional experience in similar roles
