About the Role
We are seeking dedicated Builders—individuals who independently manage a feature from conception through to live deployment, taking full ownership of every aspect. Unlike traditional specialized roles, this position combines frontend, backend, QA, and DevOps responsibilities enhanced by AI-driven development practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop complete verticals: frontend, backend, database, and deployment of your work with full accountability.
- Ensure quality by personally writing tests and conducting QA; any bugs in your feature are your responsibility.
- Leverage AI tools to assist coding, but review and direct every line rigorously to maintain high standards.
- Provide accurate estimates, communicate delays early, and deliver on commitments.
- Engage directly with clients to explain your work and updates when necessary.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Ability to rapidly turn ideas into production-ready features, typically within a week.
- Strong technical fundamentals to critically assess AI-generated code and correct errors.
- Familiarity with technologies like Redis and Kafka, or the aptitude to quickly learn them.
- Utilize AI as an enhancement, not a replacement, for thoughtful coding.
- Commitment to quality and personal accountability for the codebase.
- Proactive in investigating and resolving production issues without shifting blame.
