The Brewing Operator is responsible for safely managing one or multiple brewing and utilities processes—such as Wort Cooling, Yeast Management, and Filtration Q&C—alongside conducting maintenance duties, performing quality control tests, and mentoring teammates to consistently deliver products of the desired quality at optimal costs.

Key Responsibilities

• Maximize performance of plant and processes where feasible.
• Operate brewing house, fermentation, filtration, and packaging plants and processes including kegging and bottling.
• Carry out housekeeping duties by applying 5S principles and adhering strictly to safety practices.
• Identify and correct unsafe work behaviors.
• Contribute to the drafting and documentation of standard work procedures, including quick fix routines and problem resolutions.
• Conduct necessary quality inspections and analyses, recording results on designated information systems.
• Apply problem-solving techniques to resolve quality-related issues and escalate unresolved problems to the Brewery Area Manager.
• Support and uphold a culture of quality and food safety excellence, owning systems and processes to maintain high standards.
• Engage actively in team meetings and progress reviews, using communication tools like shift logbooks to share information effectively.
• Provide thorough handovers to incoming shift members, ensuring continuity regarding plant operation and quality issues.
• Promptly respond to process deviations and apply standard problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 5 Whys, quick fix routines) to identify and resolve issues.
• Assist in developing peers’ skills and facilitate cross-training among brewery technicians.
• Exhibit analytical thinking to tackle problems within dynamic, non-structured settings.
• Demonstrate teamwork through open communication, listening, and support.
• Display a strong drive for achievement, aiming to exceed previous standards and continuous improvement.
• Remain flexible to work varied hours, including outside regular office times and weekends, to fulfill production demands.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or relevant NCC certification in a related field.
• Basic proficiency with computers, particularly Microsoft Office and SAP systems.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective communication skills.
• Willingness and ability to work in shifts.
