Job Overview

We are seeking two skilled Block Pavers to become part of a construction project team based in Wembley, United Kingdom, with work commencing this Friday.

Key Duties

• Lay concrete and paving blocks adhering to precise specifications and quality standards.
• Set out work areas ensuring correct levels, lines, and accurate measurements.
• Prepare surfaces and mortar or bedding materials appropriately before application.
• Cut and fit blocks neatly around edges, corners, and other architectural features.
• Interpret and work from drawings, plans, and site instructions effectively.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, ensuring all completed work is clean and properly aligned.
• Uphold safety protocols and keep work areas clean and well-organized.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople and site personnel to ensure smooth project progress.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrable previous experience as a Block Layer or Block Paver.
• Strong understanding of construction methods including level setting and site layout.
• Dependable and punctual with the ability to work well within a team environment.
• Possession of personal tools and personal protective equipment is preferred.
• Relevant CSCS or site-specific qualifications where applicable.
