Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced BIM Manager to lead Building Information Modeling implementation and coordination efforts in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This key role involves directing BIM standards compliance, managing multidisciplinary teams, and fostering digital delivery innovation for large-scale projects. The position requires hands-on engagement, client interaction, and offers strong professional growth opportunities within a dynamic environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and customize BIM standards and Execution Plans per industry benchmarks such as NBIM, NCIS, AIA, BIMForum, and ISO 19650, aligning with client requirements.
• Manage the project Common Data Environment (CDE), including structuring folders, setting permissions, defining metadata, and integrating workflows with project management systems.
• Lead BIM kickoff sessions with internal teams, consultants, and clients to ensure clarity on deliverables across all project phases.
• Supervise daily BIM production activities by internal and external team members to ensure adherence to project standards and LOD specifications.
• Perform quality assurance audits involving model inspections, clash detections, and coordination, documenting issues and enforcing corrective measures.
• Facilitate multidisciplinary coordination meetings using state-of-the-art tools to handle clash detection, issue tracking, and model health.
• Directly contribute to model creation, corrections, and completions as needed to meet schedules and quality standards.
• Conduct hands-on Revit modeling tasks such as sheet setup, parameter input, and model corrections across disciplines.
• Validate project models' setup including coordination points and shared coordinates.
• Manage lifecycle integration of 3D, 4D, and 5D modeling deliverables, and coordinate contractor and consultant submissions.
• Develop automation strategies leveraging Dynamo and Revit API to streamline repetitive tasks and boost efficiency.
• Provide technical support for 2D/3D deliverables, smart-object creation, and template development.
• Report monthly on BIM KPIs, compliance, and deliverable status to leadership.
• Mentor and coach team members on standards, workflows, and BIM best practices.
• Identify lessons learned and implement process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency.
• Ensure contractual and information delivery compliance while proactively managing digital delivery risks.
• Maintain comprehensive records including issue logs, audits, and performance metrics to ensure transparency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with minimum 6 years in BIM/digital delivery, or Associate degree with 10 years, or High school diploma with 10 years relevant experience.
• At least 7 years leading or coordinating multidisciplinary BIM activities.
• Advanced hands-on expertise in Revit for multi-discipline modeling and error corrections.
• Proven experience in developing BIM Execution Plans with solid QA/QC frameworks.
• In-depth knowledge of industry BIM standards such as NBIM, NCIS, AIA, BIMForum, and ISO 19650.
• Proficient in model coordination, clash detection, and managing diverse BIM teams.
• Exceptional organizational skills, detail orientation, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams and interface with clients.
• Experienced in Common Data Environment administration and integration with project workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

• Over 12 years of BIM experience with expertise in setting and enforcing BIM standards.
• Experience in large-scale infrastructure projects including data centers and mission-critical facilities.
• Track record managing distributed or offshore BIM teams.
• Advanced skills in Navisworks, Civil 3D, Forma, and ProjectWise.
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Dynamo and Revit API scripts demonstrating measurable process improvements.
• Knowledgeable in 3D/4D/5D modeling and asset information management for digital handovers.
• Proficient with SharePoint and enterprise project management tools.
• Effective trainer and mentor for BIM teams.
• Understanding of Saudi Arabian construction standards and local regulations.
• Interest or experience in integrating Artificial Intelligence into BIM and digital workflows.
• Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and experience managing multicultural teams.
• Certification in BIM coordination or related credentials is advantageous.
