About the Role

Meta is on the lookout for a seasoned Benefits Manager to architect, strategize, and implement employee benefits programs across critical nations within the EMEA region, as part of their Total Rewards team. This position involves overseeing multifaceted benefits portfolios including health, financial, leave, and family programs that align with Meta's overall people strategy, while ensuring competitiveness and adherence to regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, assess, and continuously enhance benefits offerings encompassing health, wellbeing, retirement plans, risk coverage, and leave policies across numerous EMEA countries.
  • Formulate and steer multi-year strategic roadmaps for benefits, aligning investments with company priorities and workforce requirements.
  • Collaborate with legal, industry relations, and people operations units to guarantee regulatory compliance across varied EMEA jurisdictions.
  • Develop and sustain strong working relationships with internal teams such as total rewards, legal, payroll, and regional HR to promote effective program execution.
  • Work alongside global benefits teams to refine and evolve both regional and international benefits strategies as the company grows.

Candidate Requirements

  • A minimum of 12 years’ experience in designing, managing, or consulting on benefits programs focused on EMEA markets.
  • Proven experience handling multi-country benefits portfolios, including health, retirement, risk, leaves, and family-related benefits across diverse legal and industrial relations contexts.
  • Track record in leading complex, cross-functional benefits initiatives covering strategy development through to implementation, including vendor management and securing stakeholder alignment.
  • Experience advising senior leadership on intricate benefits-related decisions, balancing cost-effectiveness and compliance risks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ongoing development of AI-related competencies, including prompt/context engineering and agent orchestration, keeping up with the latest AI trends.
  • Background in broader HR roles such as HR business partnering, People Operations, or Compensation.
  • Experience implementing ethical AI practices, including risk assessments, bias mitigation, and quality reviews.
  • Proven ability to integrate AI tools for workflow optimization and to produce measurable improvements in efficiency and quality.
  • Previous work in high-growth or technology sectors managing benefits on a large scale and at high speed.
  • Familiarity with global benefits technology platforms and HR Information Systems utilized for administering and reporting multi-country benefits.
