Role Overview
As a Banking Consultant within Retail Banking, your primary responsibility is to deliver a seamless banking experience for customers by addressing their comprehensive financial needs. This involves managing transaction activities, engaging in detailed needs-based conversations, and educating customers on the financial products and digital solutions available. The role is branch-based and requires proficient knowledge to complete transactions and offer suitable financial products in line with accreditation levels, ensuring exceptional service that transforms customers into loyal advocates for ANZ.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate smooth branch experiences by fulfilling customers' end-to-end banking requirements, including transactions and digital education.
- Collaborate with team members, serve as a role model, and provide peer coaching to enhance customer service quality.
- Drive improvements in customer engagement and advocacy, generating tangible value for clients.
- Engage actively in bank programs and initiatives aimed at organizational growth.
- Maintain comprehensive customer knowledge to manage risk effectively.
- Adhere strictly to ANZ's compliance standards and branch operating policies.
Candidate Profile
- Strong customer service orientation, ideally with experience in retail environments.
- Familiarity with digital tools and technology, with the confidence to promote and utilize various digital channels.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and adapt to changing or uncertain conditions.
- Effective teamwork skills and willingness to collaborate in a group setting.
- Sound knowledge and adherence to compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal capabilities.
Additional Details
This is a permanent full-time position located at 186 Baylis Street, Wagga Wagga, NSW 2650. Work hours may include rostered Saturdays to support branch operations and customer demand.
