Job Description
- Perform automation testing with hands-on experience in relevant tools and frameworks
- Develop and maintain test scripts primarily using Java programming language
- Utilize Selenium WebDriver within automation frameworks for testing web applications
- Employ TestNG and/or JUnit frameworks for test automation management
- Conduct API testing using tools like Rest Assured or Postman
- Design and sustain automation frameworks, including Hybrid, Data-Driven, and Page Object Model (POM) approaches
- Manage build tools such as Maven and Gradle for test execution
- Integrate automation efforts with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI/CD
- Apply knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) in Agile and Scrum environments
- Execute different test types including Functional, Regression, Smoke, and Integration Testing
- Use Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket for source code version control
- Track defects and manage test cases via tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps
- Create and run automated test scripts, and evaluate testing outcomes
- Perform database testing and SQL queries
- Demonstrate strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities
- Preference for candidates experienced with BDD tools such as Cucumber
- Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter is a plus
- Work collaboratively in Agile teams and participate actively in sprint ceremonies
- Maintain excellent communication and stakeholder coordination
