Role Overview

This full-time audit position, based on-site in Patna, Bihar, involves scrutinizing financial records, transactional data, and organizational procedures to guarantee accuracy, compliance with policies, and regulatory adherence. Daily tasks include reviewing financial statements, verifying documentation, evaluating internal control systems, and generating comprehensive audit reports with actionable recommendations. The role requires collaboration with finance and operations teams, communicating audit outcomes to management, and assisting in implementing corrective measures. Additionally, the auditor will help enhance the organization’s risk management and governance frameworks.

Qualifications and Skills

• Robust analytical capabilities to assess data, detect inconsistencies, and appraise internal controls.
• Sound understanding of finance principles, including the interpretation of financial statements and familiarity with microfinance operations.
• Proficiency in audit methodologies: planning, transaction testing, and documenting audit results.
• Strong communication skills for report delivery and teamwork across departments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related disciplines. Professional certifications such as CA, CMA, or CIA are advantageous.
• Competence with MS Excel and basic accounting software; experience in microfinance or banking sectors is preferred.
• High ethical standards, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to operate both independently and collaboratively.
• Availability to work physically in Patna with readiness to undertake necessary field visits.
