Audio Visual (AV) Support Specialist

About the Role

The Facilities team at Point72 provides comprehensive corporate services worldwide, including managing property, facilities operations, and security. As an AV Support Specialist, you will play a key role delivering on-site audiovisual assistance for meeting rooms, conferences, and events primarily across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, based in Hong Kong.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver daily AV support covering meeting room setups, conference spaces, and events at the Hong Kong headquarters.
• Coordinate remote and occasional on-site AV assistance for other APAC offices, including locations in India, Tokyo, Singapore, and Sydney.
• Diagnose and resolve AV technical issues related to video conferencing platforms, audio systems, displays, room controls, and live event support.
• Conduct routine AV maintenance checks, preventive servicing, basic system configuration, and manage repair or upgrade coordination with vendors and internal teams.
• Serve as the first-line support for Integrated Workplace Management Systems (IWMS), handling room bookings, desk management, workplace services, and daily user support.
• Lead IWMS user onboarding, training, testing, deployment, upgrade, and enhancement activities regionally across APAC.
• Continuously monitor IWMS system performance and ensure data accuracy while verifying that system configurations reflect actual workplace layouts.
• Act as the main APAC contact for AV and IWMS solutions and champion global standards to ensure a consistent user experience across offices.
• Collect and communicate regional user feedback and requirements to global teams and represent APAC in worldwide AV and IWMS initiatives.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Experience supporting AV systems in a corporate or enterprise setting.
• Proficiency with Poly video conferencing platforms as well as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and enterprise AV systems.
• Experience with IWMS or comparable workplace technology solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a customer-service oriented mindset.
• Strong communication skills, capable of engaging clearly and professionally with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively across multiple regions.
• Flexibility for on-site support and occasional after-hours assistance, including limited travel within APAC.
