Role Overview
The Assistant Villa Operations Manager supports the Villa Operations Manager in delivering outstanding luxury experiences at the Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara. This role involves operational leadership, supervising villa hosts, ensuring high service standards, and coordinating smoothly across various resort departments to maintain the resort's world-class standards.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily operations of all villas within the resort.
- Oversee and guide Villa Hosts to maintain exemplary service levels.
- Coordinate the processes of villa check-ins, check-outs, cleaning, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure villas are inspected thoroughly prior to guest arrivals to uphold luxury standards.
- Manage VIP guest arrivals, accommodate individual preferences, and personalize services.
- Address and resolve guest complaints efficiently and professionally.
- Plan Villa Hosts’ work schedules, provide training, and evaluate their performance.
- Ensure adherence to resort standard operating procedures, health, safety, and quality regulations.
- Liaise with departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Food & Beverage, and Guest Relations to deliver seamless guest experiences.
- Monitor operational expenses and assist with departmental budgeting activities.
- Maintain detailed records of guest history and preferences in the property management system (Opera).
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Tourism, or related discipline preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in villa operations or luxury resort management.
- Background in 5-star hotels or luxury resorts, ideally experienced with butler or villa host services.
- Proven leadership capabilities combined with strong communication and guest service skills.
- Familiarity with Opera PMS or equivalent hotel management software.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in additional languages is beneficial.
