Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our expanding retail team across Australia and New Zealand. This role offers a chance to lead and inspire teams, deliver outstanding customer service, and drive commercial success within a dynamic retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coach, motivate, and develop store personnel to enhance team performance.
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training efforts.
  • Deliver regular feedback and support for performance improvement.
  • Cultivate a positive and high-achieving team culture.
  • Support sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Analyze sales data to discover opportunities to boost store performance.
  • Create an engaging customer-focused and sales-oriented atmosphere.
  • Help plan rosters and manage workforce distribution effectively.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and maintain store presentation standards.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with product launches, promotions, and peak trading preparations.

Candidate Profile

  • Previous experience as an Assistant Store Manager, Supervisor, or second-in-command in retail.
  • A strong commitment to exceptional customer service and team development.
  • Proficient in coaching and leading teams.
  • Commercially minded with a focus on achieving KPIs.
  • Highly organized, flexible, and solution-oriented.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced retail settings.

Work Schedule and Availability

Flexible availability across all seven days, including weekends, late nights, and public holidays is necessary. Our rosters typically provide two consecutive days off weekly to support work-life balance and consistent scheduling. Candidates should be willing to adapt during peak periods, notably from November to January, and major product release events.
