Overview

Downer has reached a significant achievement by securing the Property and Asset Services contract for their largest regions, NSW/ACT and Queensland, reinforcing an 80+ year relationship with the Australian Defence Force (ADF). This opportunity invites applications for the role of Asset Data Officer with positions in Brisbane, Cairns, or Townsville. Key Responsibilities

• Manage, verify, and update the asset register data ensuring alignment with Defence standards.
• Maintain data accuracy and compliance, and synchronize asset information with Defence platforms such as GEMS.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to confirm and consolidate asset data supporting estate works, maintenance, and project execution.
• Offer guidance and support on asset data to project groups and subcontractors.
• Drive continual enhancements in asset data management procedures and tools.

Qualifications and Experience

• Certificate III or IV in Business or Data Management is preferred.
• Training certification in Asset Management Systems is a plus.
• Background in Engineering, Maintenance, or Financial Data Management is advantageous.
• Possession of White Card and valid site access credentials is desirable.
• Proven experience in asset data upkeep, administration, or managing databases.
