Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and meticulous Landscape Architect to join our Riyadh team. In this position, you will design engaging outdoor spaces that successfully marry artistic vision with practical functionality. Cooperation with multidisciplinary experts is essential, as is crafting sustainable landscape designs tailored to the unique environmental characteristics of Riyadh's arid climate. This role blends technical abilities with innovative problem-solving to achieve outstanding landscape architecture outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate project locations considering terrain, soil, climate, and existing vegetation relevant to Riyadh's dry environment
• Develop detailed landscape design plans and overarching concepts in alignment with client and project needs
• Produce accurate technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents, leveraging CAD and specialized design tools
• Choose suitable plant species, materials, and irrigation setups that adhere to local climatic conditions and water conservation standards
• Create visual 3D presentations and renderings to effectively communicate designs to clients and stakeholders
• Work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors ensuring smooth project workflow and integration
• Perform on-site visits and inspections to guarantee that construction adheres to intended designs
• Assess environmental impacts and incorporate sustainable landscaping methods in all projects
• Oversee schedules, budgets, and deliverables while upholding high quality standards
• Clearly present design concepts and alternatives, providing justifications to clients
• Stay abreast of new technologies, trends, and best practices within landscape architecture
• Ensure all designs comply with Riyadh’s local regulations, building codes, and environmental policies

Required Qualifications

• At least 10 years of professional experience in landscape architecture with a strong project portfolio
• Advanced skills in CAD software and landscape design applications
• Extensive knowledge of horticulture and plant maintenance adapted to arid climates
• Expertise in site evaluation, grading, drainage, and irrigation planning
• Firm understanding of sustainable and environmentally conscious landscaping principles
• High proficiency in technical drafting and preparing specifications
• Experience managing multiple projects effectively
• Strong analytical skill set combined with exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent communication and presentation capabilities for diverse audiences
• Experience with 3D visualization and rendering software tools
• Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) technologies
• Knowledgeable in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) applications
• Understanding of Saudi local climatic conditions, regulations, and building standards
• Background in large-scale commercial, residential, or mixed-use landscape projects
• Ability to collaborate efficiently within multidisciplinary teams
• Strong organizational skills and capacity to balance competing priorities
