Job Purpose
The Applications Engineer will collaborate with external partners to understand project requirements, advise clients and internal sales teams on optimal solutions, and support pre-sales initiatives through preliminary engineering and pricing. This role provides cross-functional project support and ensures products are correctly integrated within project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility analyses for cost estimates and requests for offers.
- Prepare detailed cost estimations and develop professional business proposals aligned with company standards.
- Coordinate communications among various departments to confirm the most suitable solutions for each sales offering.
- Manage the bidding process to meet all deadlines.
- Provide technical support during sales discussions with customers and coordinate with suppliers for material requests.
- Liaise with global factory and engineering teams regarding design scope, estimations, and production matters.
- Perform periodic technical visits to manufacturing sites.
Knowledge and Skills
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong command of the English language.
- In-depth technical understanding of the products offered.
- Good grasp of project management fundamentals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities.

Qualifications and Additional Information
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline.
- Willingness to travel both interstate and internationally as required.
