AI Solution Architect

Overview

Join Expleo Group in Munich as an AI Solution Architect to design and implement cutting-edge machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions from initial concept to deployment. You will develop modern MLOps pipelines, optimize models for performance and scalability, and ensure compliance and security. Collaborating closely with data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders, you will drive AI innovation and support your team through coaching.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and scale enterprise AI and ML solutions.
• Build and enhance MLOps pipelines including CI/CD, deployment, monitoring, and retraining processes.
• Optimize model performance and orchestrate models in production environments.
• Ensure robustness, fairness, compliance, and security of AI applications.
• Work collaboratively with data scientists and engineers on data pipelines, feature stores, and model validation.
• Select and integrate contemporary tools, frameworks, and architectures.
• Contribute to the development of standards, best practices, and strategic AI/ML roadmaps.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to junior and mid-level engineers.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience in architecture, implementation, and operation of AI/ML solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Multi-Lingual Models (MLMs), and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) including architecture, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and agent orchestration.
• Experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or Haystack.
• Excellent Python programming abilities and practical experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks), container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code tools (Terraform).
• Understanding of MLOps tools like MLflow, deployment, observability, and governance.
• Knowledge of compliance and security standards (GDPR, ISO/IEC 27001/27701, TISAX).
• Experience in designing digital solutions and presenting them to clients.

Desired Additional Skills

• Software engineering best practices such as clean code, design patterns, and testing.
• Project or team management experience, including Scrum and CRISP-DM methodologies.
• Hands-on with local LLMs (Llama.cpp, Ollama, vLLM, Unsloth) and ML libraries like PyTorch, scikit-learn, and OpenCV.
• Expertise in building AI platforms for enterprise search, test automation, and coding agents.
• Data analysis skills using statistics, Tableau, and R.
• Certifications in AI, ML, cloud technologies, or software engineering.

Education & Language Requirements

• Completed degree in computer science, mathematics, data science, or related discipline.
• Fluent German language skills at minimum C1 level and good English proficiency.
