About the Role
Join SAP Labs Singapore as a Full Stack Developer specializing in AI, where you'll lead a dynamic team focused on advancing AI architecture and technology integration within SAP's enterprise solutions. This key role demands deep technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to scale AI-enabled products in complex environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with an agile team to keep pace with the latest AI advancements, validate new technologies, and share knowledge widely.
- Develop end-to-end AI-powered features, including front-end, back-end, API layers, data management, and system integrations.
- Create and manage evaluation frameworks for AI systems, including defining metrics, experiments, and ongoing model monitoring.
- Architect scalable solutions connecting SAP service landscapes with AI services.
- Guide and mentor engineering team members, promoting code quality, peer reviews, and collective learning.
- Work closely with product managers, data scientists, and security experts to build robust, compliant, and high-performance solutions.
- Implement DevOps and LLMOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, observability, and cost-efficient scalability.
- Document system architectures, design decisions, and ensure solutions are maintainable and operationally excellent.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of six years in software engineering with proven end-to-end feature or project delivery experience.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
- Strong skills in Python for backend development and experience in full-stack development with React and REST/GraphQL APIs.
- Proficient with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
- At least two years working with machine learning or large language model solutions, including production deployments.
- Hands-on experience using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Demonstrated ownership and accountability for project outcomes within collaborative teams.
- Exceptional cross-functional teamwork abilities, working with diverse roles in product and data teams.
Preferred Skills
- Advanced AI expertise with practical use of Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, or frameworks like LangChain and LlamaIndex.
- Familiarity with AI operations tools such as MLflow or Weights & Biases for experiment tracking and evaluation.
- Knowledge of SAP integrations, including S/4HANA, BTP (Kyma), and protocols like OData, RFC, or CPI.
- Experience with Kafka for event streaming and infrastructure automation tools like Terraform.
