Role Overview

We seek a highly capable quantitative fresh graduate to join our artificial intelligence team. This opportunity is tailored for top performers in mathematics or physics, who exhibit exceptional analytical skills and intellectual ability, even if formal coding experience is limited. Candidates must have been among the top 5% in their academic cohort, enjoy tackling complex abstract challenges, and have actively utilized AI tools during their studies. This position is ideal for individuals aiming to develop advanced AI expertise in an innovative fintech setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior engineers on the design, testing, and enhancement of AI-driven solutions applicable to various business scenarios.
  • Apply mathematical and statistical principles to accurately model real-world challenges.
  • Employ AI resources such as large language models, coding copilot tools, and automation solutions to accelerate research and prototype development.
  • Translate theoretical AI concepts into concrete, practical implementations.
  • Conduct experiments, evaluate model results, and refine systems iteratively for improvement.
  • Assist with internal process automation through AI-driven initiatives.
  • Maintain continuous learning to stay abreast of emerging AI research and novel tools.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering Physics, or related rigorous quantitative fields, preferably from a top-tier university.
  • Outstanding logical reasoning ability coupled with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Solid foundational knowledge of linear algebra, probability theory, statistics, and optimization techniques.
  • A high level of intellectual curiosity and the capacity to quickly comprehend complex subjects.
  • Verifiable experience utilizing AI technologies such as large language models, AI coding assistants, or research tools in academic projects or coursework.
  • Basic familiarity with Python programming or analogous languages; formal coding experience is not compulsory.
  • Ability to operate comfortably in ambiguous environments and carry out independent experimentation.
