Community Correctional Services (CCS) plays a vital role in enhancing community safety by implementing methods that minimize recidivism. CCS manages individuals under court orders including those convicted of serious sexual and violent offenses on post-sentence supervision, as well as parolees.

Role Overview

As an Advanced Practitioner in the court case management stream of CCS, you will handle a caseload primarily composed of complex and high-risk offenders. Your duties include performing risk assessments, devising case plans, administering interventions, confronting offending behaviors proactively, addressing root causes of offenses, and ensuring adherence to court order conditions. Furthermore, you will support clients in successfully fulfilling their court orders while maintaining community safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload predominantly involving complex and high-risk clients.
• Inspire and guide staff on optimal case management practices.
• Prepare detailed written reports featuring analysis and recommendations for senior officials.
• Exercise prudent judgment in evaluating and identifying individual risk.
• Establish and sustain strong relationships with cross-government and community stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience with established case management frameworks, especially managing clients with complex needs and conducting comprehensive risk and needs assessments in human services.
• Capability to apply theoretical models effectively to mitigate risks and enhance client outcomes.
• Demonstrated skill in leading, managing, and developing staff responsible for operational service delivery.
• Keen observation skills recognizing verbal and non-verbal cues that foster an inclusive workplace culture.
