Account Manager

Job Overview

Join Rent-A-Center as an Account Manager and unlock significant career advancement potential. This position oversees rental accounts, emphasizing excellent customer service, sales of new products, account management, deliveries, pickups, and early-stage collections while maintaining store and safety standards. Almost all of Rent-A-Center's leadership positions have been internally promoted from this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a designated group of customer accounts, fostering strong, ongoing relationships.
• Perform early collections for accounts 1 to 6 days overdue, meeting set daily and weekly targets.
• Utilize account management tools to maintain account health and secure payment commitments.
• Execute assigned routes involving deliveries, pickups, and account follow-ups.
• Provide exceptional customer service in-store, by phone, and during in-home visits.
• Drive sales growth by creating new rental agreements.
• Safely transport, install, and manage merchandise.
• Ensure showroom and company vehicle standards are upheld.
• Comply with all company safety and operational policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
• Strong communication abilities coupled with excellent customer service skills.

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift and move heavy products.
• Capability to drive a box truck.
• Comfortable standing and driving for long durations.

Work Schedule & Environment

• Full-time position working Monday through Saturday.
• Sundays and one weekday off weekly.
• Physically active role requiring lifting, bending, and standing.
