Role Overview

Amid rapid expansion in Irish and UK operations, NVD seeks an Account Manager reporting to the Customer Operations Manager. This position is responsible for managing daily operations for key customer accounts, ensuring that account activities are planned and executed at high standards. Collaboration with both internal teams and external stakeholders is essential to surpass performance targets. The role heavily relies on the use of a comprehensive ERP system, alongside CRM (Salesforce) and project management tools, requiring strong leadership capability to drive results through these platforms.

Customer Operations Responsibilities

  • Oversee the coordination, planning, and management of key customer accounts and projects using NVD's operational systems.
  • Cultivate durable relationships through consistent communication, understanding customer objectives, and regular engagement.
  • Adapt to customer demands flexibly, including participation in on-site visits when necessary.
  • Address customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure swift escalation and resolution of customer issues by engaging appropriate personnel.

Internal Collaboration

  • Serve as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams, translating client requirements into actionable operational plans.
  • Contribute to weekly planning of capacity to prioritize customer needs effectively.
  • Champion the customer’s perspective across the organization to drive customer-centric decisions and improvements.

Continuous Improvement & Business Success

  • Spot and recommend process enhancements to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay informed on industry developments that might impact customers or business operations.
  • Acquire comprehensive knowledge of customer operations protocols, policies, and requirements.
  • Maintain meticulous records regarding all customer account activities.
  • Prepare and present reports as needed.
  • Fulfill additional assigned duties.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related discipline.
  • Proven success in key account management within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation capabilities.
  • Sharp problem-solving skills with strategic planning aptitude.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage time and deadlines effectively under pressure.
  • Valid full clean driving license (Class B).

Preferred Experience

  • Previous exposure to logistics or automotive sectors is advantageous.
  • Hands-on experience working with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, ERP systems, and project management tools.
