Role Overview

We are actively seeking an experienced Quality Control (QC) Packer for the 2nd shift at our Calhoun, Georgia facility. This position demands thorough inspection and meticulous packaging of finished fabricated goods to ensure compliance with quality standards and work order specifications.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Examine completed fabricated products to verify they meet defined quality criteria, specifications, and order requirements.
  • Confirm accuracy of measurements, appearance, labeling, and overall build quality prior to packaging.
  • Detect, record, and report any defects or materials that do not meet standards to supervisors or QC leads.
  • Consistently follow established quality control protocols and company policies.
  • Package final products carefully to protect them from damage throughout handling, storage, and shipment.
  • Ensure the correct items, quantities, and documentation accompany each order.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
  • Handle materials carefully to prevent damage or contamination.
  • Utilize basic measuring instruments and inspection tools as necessary.
  • Assist with rework or corrections when required.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with fabrication and production teams to help meet deadlines effectively.

Work Environment

The role operates predominantly in a warehouse environment with occasional outdoor exposure during the workday. It involves routine use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines, as well as typical warehouse tools including hand trucks, box cutters, and tape dispensers.
