Overview
This role focuses on leading software engineering projects and managing engineering teams. It combines technical leadership with people management responsibilities to deliver high-quality software solutions and foster team growth within various technology domains.
Core Responsibilities
- Recruit, mentor, and retain a top-performing team of software engineers, overseeing career development, coaching, and performance management.
- Collaborate with product managers and technical leads to define and carry out technical strategies related to feedback and user-centered areas.
- Lead complex architectural decision-making, maintaining rigorous standards for software design and quality through code reviews.
- Manage project timelines, prioritize tasks, and communicate progress and risks across the organization to ensure timely delivery of quality software.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align on customer needs, influence product direction, and maximize the impact of engineering efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Minimum of 8 years in software development.
- At least 3 years in technical leadership roles.
- Minimum 2 years in people or team management.
- Practical experience integrating generative AI tools or large language model interfaces into workflows.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree such as a Master’s or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
- 10 or more years of software development experience.
- 3 years of experience in technical leadership roles.
- 3 years managing software engineering teams.
- Competence in full-stack and mobile application development.
