Core Responsibilities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with seasoned Amazon engineers to design and launch innovative products and services.
- Develop cutting-edge technologies within large, distributed computing systems driving industry transformation.
- Implement predictive solutions running on distributed platforms leveraging high-scale, high-speed technologies.
- Construct scalable, fault-tolerant, low-cost distributed storage, indexing, and query infrastructures that are easy to operate.
- Craft appropriate solutions by interpreting broadly defined problems and designing effective codebases.
- Operate within agile workflows to produce robust, high-quality software deliverables.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of professional software development experience beyond internships.
- At least two years in system design or architecture involving design patterns, scalability, and reliability of new or existing platforms.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience spanning at least three full software development life cycle phases including adherence to coding standards, code reviews, version control, build processes, testing, and operational support.
