About the Role
Join Parsons Corporation as a Senior Contracts Administrator and be part of a dynamic team driving project success by managing contracts and commercial risks effectively. This role emphasizes protecting client interests throughout project lifecycles while ensuring contractual compliance and optimal handling of claims and changes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee administration of construction, consultancy, and design contracts.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations including notices, milestones, bonds, and insurance.
- Manage contract variations and change controls from identification to approval and implementation stages.
- Evaluate and review Project Variation Notices (PVNs), Project Variation Requests (PVRs), Change Orders, and Variation Orders with their documentation.
- Analyze the impact of variations and claims on costs, timelines, and contract entitlements.
- Audit claims related to extensions of time, disruptions, prolongation, acceleration, and additional expenditures.
- Identify and mitigate risks such as scope overlaps, duplications, or double counting in contracts.
- Review payment applications and collaborate with Quantity Surveying and Cost Management teams for certification processes.
- Facilitate commercial negotiations and prepare contractual assessments and recommendations directed to the Client.
- Draft contractual notices, official letters, instructions, and correspondence.
- Maintain comprehensive registers for contracts, variations, claims, and other actions, providing regular reports on commercial matters.
- Engage and coordinate with contractors, consultants, designers, and other key project stakeholders.
- Support processes related to contract amendments, extensions, close-outs, and final settlements.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 15 years of extensive contract administration and commercial experience.
- Experience working within Project Management Consultancy (PMC), Client organizations, consultants, or major contracting firms.
- In-depth knowledge of FIDIC contracts and customized construction or consultancy agreements.
- Proven expertise in managing variations, claims, extensions of time (EOT), payments, negotiations, and commercial risk.
- Previous work exposure within the GCC or broader Middle East region.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or closely related disciplines.

- Competence in balancing multiple contracts and prioritizing in demanding project environments.
