- Improve multi-step reasoning quality, context handling, and agent efficiency across diverse enterprise applications.
- Lead MLOps practices in evaluation, benchmarking, safety, and quality assurance for autonomous AI systems.
- Develop long-term strategies concerning agentic AI frameworks, governance, and scalable deployments.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and executive teams to deliver production-grade AI co-worker solutions for global clients.
- Mentor junior data scientists, fostering higher standards in scientific research and engineering practice.
Candidate Profile
- Master's or PhD in a quantitative field.
- Experience or strong interest in software development, specifically familiarity with or willingness to learn TypeScript.
- Proven track record in delivering impactful machine learning solutions within complex environments.
- Strong foundation in natural language processing, including transformers, LSTMs, CNNs, topic modeling, and supervised NLP techniques.
- Hands-on experience with LLM orchestration frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), multi-agent systems, or tool-calling architectures.
- Proficiency in Python focused on machine learning and AI, complemented by knowledge of additional programming languages.
- Ability to clearly articulate complex concepts and influence stakeholders across functions.
- Demonstrated curiosity, humility, strong ownership, and adaptability in fast-changing environments.
- Availability to work onsite at Sydney CBD office one to two days per week.
