Role Overview
We seek a Robotics Software Engineer focused on developing software for autonomous and semi-autonomous robotic systems. This position requires a blend of in-depth robotics knowledge and advanced software engineering skills to deliver reliable code for real-world robotic applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop software modules for perception, planning, and control in robotic platforms.
- Create and integrate ROS and ROS2 nodes and their associated middleware.
- Design simulation environments for thorough testing and validation.
- Troubleshoot and fix issues spanning hardware, sensors, and software components.
- Participate in high-level architecture decisions throughout the robotics technology stack.
- Collaborate closely with hardware, machine learning, and product teams for holistic system design.
Qualifications
- Minimum of three years' experience in robotics software engineering.
- Proficient in C++ and Python programming languages.
- Experience working with ROS and ROS2 frameworks.
- Knowledge of perception technologies, SLAM, motion planning, or control systems.
- Familiarity with simulation tools such as Gazebo, Isaac Sim, or MuJoCo is advantageous.
- Strong foundation in software engineering principles.
