Overview
We are seeking a full-time Assistant Manager to join our high-performing team at Harbor Freight Tools in Shelbyville, IN. This role is ideal for candidates with recent leadership experience who are eager to advance their retail career. Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $24.00 to $26.40 per hour, varying by location, expertise, education, and experience, and includes eligibility for a monthly bonus. Comprehensive benefits are offered, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, short and long-term disability coverage, and access to a 401(k) plan with company matching. Associates accrue up to 152 hours of paid time off annually—covering PTO, floating holidays, and paid holidays—and are entitled to up to 64 hours of paid sick leave unless otherwise stipulated by law.
Work Schedule
Work hours respect personal time within the store operating window of 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and exemplify professional customer service standards
- Maintain store safety, cleanliness, and organization to high standards
- Cross-train in all aspects of store operations, including stocking and sales associate roles
- Lead, coach, and develop team members effectively
- Serve as Leader on Duty according to schedule
