About CK Insto Private Limited
CK Insto Pvt. Ltd., located in Itola, Vadodara, Gujarat, is engaged in manufacturing testing machines and is looking to hire a Quality Control Engineer to uphold stringent quality standards and ensure products comply with both customer and international norms.
Job Summary
The Quality Control Engineer will be responsible for validating that the machines manufactured meet customer requirements and conform to statutory and international standards. The role involves close collaboration with multiple teams including Sales, Design, Production, Service, and the customer base to maintain quality, compliance, and efficient project flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform final quality inspections prior to product dispatch.
- Carry out in-process inspections during machine assembly.
- Evaluate the functionality of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic components, and software.
- Ensure adherence to company and customer quality specifications.
- Detect defects and liaise with the Production Team for corrective measures.
- Interpret and integrate national and international standards such as IS, IEC, UL, ASTM, ISO, and EN.
- Validate machine design and operation compliance with standards.
- Keep abreast of updates to relevant standards and amendments.
- Engage in technical dialogues with Sales and Customer teams.
- Translate customer needs into technical quality checkpoints.
- Coordinate interdepartmentally with Design, Production, Purchase, Service, and Sales teams to clarify technical prerequisites and resolve issues.
- Draft QC Reports, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), compliance checklists, and maintain quality records.
- Prepare and uphold technical and customer approval documentation.
- Address and resolve customers’ technical concerns about machine operation and regulatory standards.
- Support Service Engineers during installation and commissioning phases.
- Conduct technical training sessions for the service team when needed.
- Track quality trends and recommend enhancements to processes.
- Develop and refine standard inspection methods and documentation frameworks.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Graduates with a focus on Quality Control or related engineering domains.
- Experience in quality assessment and technical compliance within manufacturing settings preferred.
- Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and software aspects of machinery.
- Knowledge of national and international standards and their practical applications.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Capable of cross-functional coordination and problem-solving with continuous improvement orientation.
Compensation and Benefits
- A monthly fixed salary ranging between ₹20,000 and ₹30,000, commensurate with skills and experience.
- Annual performance bonus.
- Employee State Insurance (ESI) coverage.
Additional Information
This is a full-time day shift role based at Itola, Vadodara, Gujarat. The role involves hands-on engagement with diverse teams and customers for comprehensive quality assurance and compliance management.
