Project Manager

About the Role

We invite a dynamic individual passionate about overseeing complex industrial projects globally to join Valmet's Flow Control business unit. This role is central to delivering valve equipment solutions for diverse process industries worldwide. It combines project management skills, customer-centric leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure projects meet safety, budget, schedule, and contractual objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee projects from order acceptance through final delivery and closure.
• Control project scope, timelines, budgets, quality standards, and profitability.
• Act as the main liaison for customers, EPC contractors, and internal teams during the project.
• Lead and coordinate cross-departmental teams including engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, logistics, and documentation.
• Handle project modifications, contract changes, customer requests, and claims aligning with company goals.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, contractual commitments, quality guidelines, and health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Prepare and communicate project progress updates, forecasts, and performance summaries to stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relations to enhance project experience.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a relevant technical discipline.
• At least five years of project management experience, ideally in industrial equipment, manufacturing, or process industries.
• Demonstrated ability to manage several projects concurrently in a fast-moving global setting.
• Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently with a structured, accountable, and organized approach.
• Business-focused mindset with strong emphasis on enhancing customer satisfaction and delivering value.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English.
• Competency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
