Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled PCB Assembly Technician to join our team, responsible for the hands-on assembly, soldering, inspection, and testing assistance of electronic PCBs applied in embedded and UAV systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute SMD and through-hole component soldering and PCB assembly operations.
- Undertake component replacements, PCB rework, and repair tasks using soldering irons and hot-air stations.
- Assemble fine-pitch parts, connectors, wiring, cables, and electronic modules accurately.
- Conduct careful inspection of assembled PCBs to detect solder bridges, dry joints, polarity errors, component misalignment, and other assembly flaws.
- Interpret PCB assembly drawings, schematics, bill of materials (BOM), and component labels effectively.
- Perform fundamental electrical tests such as continuity, resistance, voltage, and short circuits through multimeter usage.
- Collaborate with engineers in PCB bring-up, thorough testing, troubleshooting, and prototype creation processes.
- Carry out wiring, crimping, connector fitting, and preparation of cable harnesses complying with standards.
- Adhere strictly to electrostatic discharge (ESD) safety protocols and maintain high standards in electronic assembly.
- Keep detailed records of assembly, rework, and inspection activities.
Preferred Experience and Skills
- Between 1 to 3 years of practical PCB assembly experience.
- Strong soldering and rework proficiency.
- Experience working with SMD components and usage of lab instruments.
- High attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship.
- Background in prototype or small-scale electronics manufacturing is advantageous.
Educational Qualification and Eligibility
Applicants should have completed 10th or 12th grade; candidates without formal education are also welcome. Open to both male and female applicants.
Compensation
The position offers a monthly salary range between 15,000 and 18,000 INR.
