Oracle CPQ Senior Developer

Join Tata Consultancy Services as a Senior Oracle CPQ Developer, contributing your expertise to transformative software projects across India. We are looking for professionals with deep experience in Oracle CPQ Cloud (Big Machines) to deliver scalable business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on development in CPQ areas including Configuration, Commerce, Document Designer, Workflow Approvals, Email Templates, Steps, BML, and Configuration Layout Design.
• Perform CPQ administration tasks such as environment setup, data table and file management, user/group management, parts creation, code migration, and CSS customization.
• Utilize your expertise in Oracle Asset Based Ordering (ABO) in implementations and integrations.
• Develop independently and collaboratively, creating prototypes, proofs of concept, and technical designs for new and ongoing CPQ projects.
• Integrate Oracle CPQ with third-party systems using SOAP and REST APIs.
• Investigate, diagnose, and document technical issues, performing root cause analysis and managing technical service requests with Oracle support through closure.
• Maintain adherence to best practices including source code management, data control, and issue tracking throughout all phases of development.
• Collaborate effectively with onshore and offshore teams, manage personal deliverables, and participate in thorough code reviews with technical leads to ensure alignment with business requirements.
• Document design and code consistently, and prepare and deliver presentations and demos to clients and stakeholders.
• Exhibit effective communication skills to liaise with diverse teams and clients clearly and professionally.
• Remain adaptable by learning other CPQ tools and applying your domain expertise to varied CPQ implementations.
• Demonstrate self-motivation through continuous self-study and obtaining relevant certifications as needed.

Experience and Expertise Required

• At least 10 years of overall IT experience, with a minimum of two successful Oracle CPQ Cloud (Big Machines) software project implementations.
• Proven technical proficiency in CPQ development and administration tasks as listed above.
• Strong skills in API integration, debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving complex technical issues.
• Experience working with international teams and managing cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
