Job description
Role Overview
As an Optometrist at Specsavers, you will serve as the primary professional for conducting eye examinations and delivering contact lens services, ensuring optimal vision care and customer satisfaction. You will collaborate closely with the store team to uphold high standards of clinical care and customer service that align with patients' needs and the store's commercial goals. Creating an inviting and supportive atmosphere for customers and colleagues is a key aspect of your role.
Store Environment
Joining the newly opened Specsavers Washington location in Tyne and Wear, situated within The Galleries shopping centre, you will operate from a modern and fully equipped facility. The store features nine test rooms equipped with advanced technologies such as OCT and Phoroptors, along with dedicated HearCare and Contact Lens rooms. The venue is conveniently accessible via the A1 and A19 motorways. Washington is near notable coastal attractions like Roker and Seaburn beaches, acclaimed with Blue Flag and Seaside awards for their cleanliness and quality, as well as the Washington Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust nature reserve, providing excellent opportunities for leisure and wildlife exploration.
