About the Job
We are seeking a Master Data Manager to join our Supply Chain Department on a full-time, approximately 12-month contract to cover maternity leave. The role focuses on enhancing data governance and maintenance aligned with global standards. The candidate will handle all aspects of global and local master data initiatives, conduct monthly audits of local Master Data changes, monitor user activity, and act as the main point of contact for all Master Data and SAP related inquiries ensuring quick resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute Master Data transactions such as recipe Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, and production versions accurately and punctually to support planning teams.
- Assist local Activity and PCM teams with BOM and seasonal adjustments through Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) ensuring precise implementation.
- Collaborate with local master data owners to verify the accuracy and currency of legacy system information.
- Serve as the initial contact with the Central Master Data team to align the Orsoft system with local needs and engage in obsolescence activities.
- Deliver prompt and accurate feedback on system modifications ensuring proper documentation per Danone's internal control standards for audit purposes.
- Conduct monthly audits on customer, vendor, and material data changes related to Wexford both locally and across other Danone business units.
- Manage ad hoc system changes, update Master Data Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and communicate alterations effectively.
- Participate in projects involving new products or flows, ensuring precise master data delivery aligned with site objectives.
- Act as a key contact for master data queries, provide clarity on processes to users and stakeholders, and share technical knowledge transparently.
- Offer master data management support and backup to the Macroom site.
- Lead supply chain data-centric projects by managing and coordinating new processes and tools to support business-critical initiatives.
- Support master data relating to Functional Locations and Maintenance Planning in Damaintis, including system investigations and testing aimed at improving efficiencies.
Candidate Profile
- Preferred degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in master data management.
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to process and interpret extensive data sets.
- Curious mindset eager to learn continuously.
- Effective communication skills coupled with a collaborative team-oriented attitude.
- System-focused with proficiency in SAP, APO, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Meticulous, well-structured approach with great attention to detail.
- Knowledge of supply chain processes is advantageous.
