Role Overview
The role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable full stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and frontend frameworks like Angular or React. You will develop secure, high-performance enterprise applications optimized for cloud environments including AWS and Pivotal Cloud Foundry. This includes building RESTful APIs, implementing microservices architecture, optimizing database queries using SQL, stored procedures, and Databricks integration.
You will also participate in system architecture discussions, code reviews, and troubleshooting while working within Agile/Scrum teams. Implementing CI/CD pipelines and using enterprise-approved AI-assisted developer tools are integral parts of the work to enhance productivity and maintain secure and responsible coding standards.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong skills in Java, Spring Boot, and Angular or React frameworks.
- Experience with AWS cloud services and preferably Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
- Familiarity with Databricks, writing and optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures, and views.
- Good understanding of microservices, system design, REST API development, and design patterns.
- Hands-on with CI/CD tools, Git version control, Maven or Gradle build tools, and Agile development processes.
- Knowledge about enterprise-grade application security, performance tuning, and production support.
- Experience using AI-powered code assistance tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot or equivalent).
- Prior work in Banking, Financial Services, Risk Reporting, or regulated industries is favored.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to thrive in a collaborative agile team environment.
